National Guard is currently working with police in Albany, New York, to confiscate weapons from citizens in violation of the Constitution and Posse Comitatus. The National Guard is a joint reserve component of the United States Army and as such prohibited from collaborating with state and local law enforcement except under circumstances expressly authorized by the Constitution or an act of Congress. Posse Comitatus was seriously undermined when Congress passed the John Warner National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2007. The Warner bill allows the president to “employ the armed forces… to… restore public order and enforce the laws of the United States when, as a result of a natural disaster, epidemic, or other serious public health emergency, terrorist attack or incident, or other condition.”In New York state, the “other condition” allowing the military to violate the rights of citizens is the bogus “war on drugs.” As the video here reveals, the cops and National Guard are using the spurious drug war to search for and confiscate weapons in violation of the Second Amendment. Local cops are using x-ray technology provided by the Pentagon to search vehicles. In addition to images of pot plants, Fox 23 shows an image of an x-ray scan that reveals a rifle hidden inside a car.

During Hurricane Katrina, the military and government concentrated on going house-to-house to confiscate legal weapons while preventing assistance to reach thousands of people displaced by the storm. In the wake of this egregious violation of the Second Amendment, many states worked to pass laws designed to prevent government from seizing weapons. “The actions of the New Orleans police have inspired 13 states, including Louisiana, to enact laws to keep state and local officials from taking guns during a state of emergency, such as after a natural disaster or terrorist attack,” Stateline.org reported in 2007.

The federal government has worked for more than two decades to federalize and militarize local law enforcement and deploy troops under a number of bogus pretenses subsequently justified and even shamelessly glorified by the corporate media.“Do we want, as a free people, with the notion of privacy enshrined in the Constitution and based on the very clear limits and defined role of government, to be in a society where not just the police, but the military are on the street corners gathering intelligence on citizens, sharing that data, manipulating that data?” asked former Rep. Bob Barr in 2005.

Since Barr made his comment, the Pentagon under NORTHCOM has integrated with local police and has consistently violated Posse Comitatus. The Department of Homeland Security has also facilitated the militarization of law enforcement.

NORTHCOM has planned for “low end” scenarios — including crowd-control missions — since at least 2005. “The plans present the Pentagon with a clearer idea of the kinds and numbers of troops and the training that may be required to build a more credible homeland defense force,” the Washington Post reported on August 8, 2010. As Fox reports, this mission now includes searching cars with dangerous x-ray machines.“We have been inundated with reports over the last few weeks of uniformed soldiers and National Guardsmen running internal checkpoints all over the country as a frightening ‘Red Dawn’ scenario unfolds not with a bang but with a whimper,” Paul Jospeh Watson wrote on September 23, 2009. “The military are now being called upon to undertake roles normally designated to police as Americans are incrementally acclimated to accept the presence of troops on the streets as an everyday occurrence.”

In addition to numerous instances of the military working hand-in-hand with police around the country — from checkpoints to patrolling public events like the Boston Marathon and the Kentucky Derby — the military has concentrated on training soldiers to take on demonized militias and gun owners.

On July 3, 2009, Infowars.com reported on the Missouri National Guard is training to engage in combat with “militia” groups. News of the training mission followed the release of a leaked DHS report on “rightwing extremism” by four months.

Cops in New York working with the Pentagon in violation of Posse Comitatus is not about marijuana and the so-called drug war. It is about searching for weapons and intimidating the American people. As the economy deteriorates the police and military will attempt to disarm the American people.

In 2008, a report by the U.S. Army War College spelled out how the Pentagon plans to respond to civil unrest as the economy implodes. “Widespread civil violence inside the United States would force the defense establishment to reorient priorities in extremis to defend basic domestic order and human security,” explains the War College report. International Monetary Fund Managing Director Dominique Strauss-Kahn also predicted economy-related riots and unrest in response to the engineered Greatest Depression now unfolding.

The integration of police and military has taken a sizable leap with the activities in Albany, New York. In the weeks and months ahead, as the economy further crumbles, we can expect more brazen efforts to impose a militarized police state, not only in New York but around the country.

Philly Cops Caught Beating Motorists on Video

Kurt Nimmo

Yet another instance of cops acting like predatory pack animals. It should be obvious by now the police are out of control, a parasitical force unleashed on society at large. Cops no longer help granny across the street or respond to burglary. Cops are like the Crips, Bloods, or Mara Salvatrucha — another violent street gang, but one armed and supported by the state.

“A half-dozen police officers kicked and beat three men pulled from a car during a traffic stop as a TV helicopter taped the confrontation,” reports the Associated Press. ” The video, shot by WTXF-TV, shows three police cars stopping a car Monday, two days after a city officer was shot to death responding to a bank robbery.”

In other words, after a fellow gang member was shot and killed protecting a bank, the largest gang in Philadelphia wanted revenge and blood. Of course, that’s the real job of the cops — protect banks, not the public at large, considered the enemy.

“The tape shows about a dozen officers gathering around the vehicle. About a half-dozen officers hold two of the men on the ground. Both are kicked repeatedly, while one is seen being punched; one also appears to be struck with a baton.”

“On the surface it certainly does not look good in terms of the amount of force that was used,” Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey said. “But we don’t want to rush to judgment.”

No, of course not, even though the video plainly shows there was absolutely no reason for members of the police gang to savagely beat the three hapless people pictured.

“The officers were responding to a report of a shooting nearby, police said. It was not immediately clear what preceded the confrontation.”

It does not matter “what preceded the confrontation,” as it is obvious the motorists were not a threat. Once upon a time, cops handcuffed and arrested people accused of crimes. Now they are beaten to a pulp.

“We don’t take into consideration the emotions of police officers when it comes to the discharge of their duties… Your emotional state, being tired, doesn’t justify what’s on that video,” said D. Scott Perrine, an attorney who represents the three men seen in the video. “He said one of his clients suffered a welt on his head the size of a baseball and one of his legs was seriously injured; he didn’t know the extent of any injuries on the other two men.”

“It clearly shows a lack of any reasonable investigation before these police yank these individuals out of the car and take turns delivering blows,” he said. “This is a time for a thorough investigation to see what it is that happened here.”

Sort of like the “thorough investigation” of the cops who shot to death Sean Bell in New York. An unarmed Bell had fifty rounds pumped into him as he was leaving his bachelor party on his wedding day. Three detectives were acquitted of all charges in the case last month, thus sending a message – cops are above the law, they may shoot unarmed people with immunity.

“The defense painted the victims as drunken thugs who the officers believed were armed and dangerous. Prosecutors sought to convince the judge that the victims had been minding their own business, and that the officers were inept, trigger-happy cowboys,” reported the Associated Press.

Fact is, the cops involved are not “cowboys,” they are violent gang members, as New York has the largest cop-gang in the country.

It will only get worse. Cops are now trained to consider citizens as the enemy and the feds are arming them like paramilitaries – or maybe that should be death squads. Iraqi veterans, driven insane by multiple tours, are now filling their ranks.

“Perrine said that police told him all three men would be charged with aggravated assault,” even though it is obvious by the video here that the men did not attack the police. Increasingly, that is the MO — victims of police violence are charged with assault and resisting arrest.

It’s time to start running when they just lie to you and still expect you to trust them…

Congressional Critics Want More Assurances of Legality

The Bush administration said yesterday that it plans to start using the nation’s most advanced spy technology for domestic purposes soon, rebuffing challenges by House Democrats over the idea’s legal authority.

Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff said his department will activate his department’s new domestic satellite surveillance office in stages, starting as soon as possible with traditional scientific and homeland security activities — such as tracking hurricane damage, monitoring climate change and creating terrain maps.

Sophisticated overhead sensor data will be used for law enforcement once privacy and civil rights concerns are resolved, he said. The department has previously said the program will not intercept communications.

"There is no basis to suggest that this process is in any way insufficient to protect the privacy and civil liberties of Americans," Chertoff wrote to Reps. Bennie G. Thompson (D-Miss.) and Jane Harman (D-Calif.), chairmen of the House Homeland Security Committee and its intelligence subcommittee, respectively, in letters released yesterday.

"I think we’ve fully addressed anybody’s concerns," Chertoff added in remarks last week to bloggers. "I think the way is now clear to stand it up and go warm on it."

His statements marked a fresh determination to operate the department’s new National Applications Office as part of its counterterrorism efforts. The administration in May 2007 gave DHS authority to coordinate requests for satellite imagery, radar, electronic-signal information, chemical detection and other monitoring capabilities that have been used for decades within U.S. borders for mapping and disaster response.

But Congress delayed launch of the new office last October. Critics cited its potential to expand the role of military assets in domestic law enforcement, to turn new or as-yet-undeveloped technologies against Americans without adequate public debate, and to divert the existing civilian and scientific focus of some satellite work to security uses.

Democrats say Chertoff has not spelled out what federal laws govern the NAO, whose funding and size are classified. Congress barred Homeland Security from funding the office until its investigators could review the office’s operating procedures and safeguards. The department submitted answers on Thursday, but some lawmakers promptly said the response was inadequate.

"I have had a firsthand experience with the trust-me theory of law from this administration," said Harman, citing the 2005 disclosure of the National Security Agency‘s domestic spying program, which included warrantless eavesdropping on calls and e-mails between people in the United States and overseas. "I won’t make the same mistake. . . . I want to see the legal underpinnings for the whole program."

Thompson called DHS’s release Thursday of the office’s procedures and a civil liberties impact assessment "a good start." But, he said, "We still don’t know whether the NAO will pass constitutional muster since no legal framework has been provided."

DHS officials said the demands are unwarranted. "The legal framework that governs the National Applications Office . . . is reflected in the Constitution, the U.S. Code and all other U.S. laws," said DHS spokeswoman Laura Keehner. She said its operations will be subject to "robust," structured legal scrutiny by multiple agencies.

The Wasp material was orginally designed for Less Lethal use, but it’s application and use has expanded. It will be ideal for the Safety Bracelet. Please read the very detailed report on the development and characteristics of this material. Barry Lamperd was connected with Pine Tree Law Enforcement, and started the public company Lamperd Less Lethal. Please see the Executive Bios under the Company sub navigation menu for more details and history.

The standard answers we’ve been given are all ridiculous excuses and have been intelligently placed as a talking points to make you feel bad if you don’t agree and to be parroted back to us over and over. The truth is that if you are being watched, you are a slave already. That our friends and familes around us have repeated these insanities word for word is very alarming and proof positive of true mental programming.

"Well I’ve got nothing to hide so I’m not worried" – At some point everyone will do or has done something they’d rather not have everyone see. Just because you don’t want to be spied on doesn’t mean you have done anything wrong. It means you don’t want to be spied on.

"It’s because of 9/11" – Much of this technology, like the many draconian laws that have been passed since, had already been worked out and created before then.

"It’s there to help you, not spy on you." – As recent history has shown, these technologies have consistently been used against us.

"You don’t have to use it if you don’t want." That may be so, but most of the alternatives have been or are being phased out (aerial tv) and some of these items are mandatory (cameras). The iron hand is in the velvet fist.

Here are just 11 examples of the egregious catastrophic spying going on all around you.

Google already knows what’s in your emails and where you are surfing as of course do Yahoo, MSN and others. Recently Google announced at the bottom of one of their patents that the very mic attached to your computer can be activated by them and you could be listened to so that they can "better serve you with targeted ads"

Onstar in your car is listening to you. The Feds might have recently lost a lawsuit, but when that has not stopped them from using this and other similar technologies. Lojack traces your car or laptop with it’s GPS unit.

The government can turn on your cell phone and listen to you. The only way around that is to take the battery out. You might as well, since it has been shown in many studies to basically help fry your brain. The constant updating from the cell towers to your phone is harmful and you might want to make sure to keep that phone out of your pocket. You’ll also notice the lack of alternative phone options (ie phone booths) in the streets.

Your every cell and local phone call are being analyzed as are your computer habits by keywords.

For years records have been kept on your driving patterns (GPS, Smart Pass Toll Cards).

Your viewing habits are being surveilled and records being kept from all cable companies.

Your surfing habits are completely known and have been stored for years by all the major Internet and ISP companies.

All your files on your computer are being stored by programs like Google Desktop search.

Cameras both hidden and in view going up on every corner even in sleepy little towns.

Cameras in school children’s bathrooms!

Everything you buy online at companies like Amazon is kept forever in their records. Every book you take out in the library is recorded. If you use a supermarket "discount" card your evey food item is recorded. If yoiu purchase itmes with a credit card from anywhere the same is true.

?? 12.Comcast Sr. VP Gerard Kunkal – March 18, 2008 at the Digital Living Room conference has said that Comcast is already experimenting embedding cameras into DVR boxes. They have been testing out cameras in DVR/Cable boxes that can watch you. They claim it is to help the user experience and target programming.

Comcast has since alleged that it is more akin to a remote as is used by the video game Wii – please see the comment below that they responded to this and other blogs with. So this one is possibly "#12". I added other ways you are being watched to item to #11. In reality there are hundreds and hundreds of ways you are being watched from face scanning cameras to two way mic and camera devices that feed directly to the "companies". It is a sick and twisted grid of insanity where we’re taught to share everything online. Just look at sites like Myspace and Twitter for the obvious truth which stares us in the face.

UPDATE 2

Since Comcast has responded to the original posting at newteevee.com, the original poster has responded to Comcast to clarify the conversation he heard.

Here it is:

Hi Mr. Kunkel,

Just to further clarify. After you granted me our initial video interview, you brought up the topic of Comcast knowing who was in the living room in a conversation between you, myself and another conference attendee.

I actually left and came back to follow up on this point while you were talking with that same attendee. At this point, you were aware that I was a reporter and I took handwritten notes in front of you as we talked to make sure I had an accurate accounting of what you were saying.

I’d love to talk further with either you or someone else at Comcast to follow up on this story.

I guess it’s China’s version of MTV.

From Reuters correspondents in Beijing

January 23, 2008 02:12pm

A SENIOR Tibetan lama and Chinese government advisers have defended contentious rules banning reincarnations of "living Buddhas" without approval.

The rules are apparently aimed at empowering China to name the next Dalai Lama when the 14th and current Dalai Lama dies.

Last July, China’s State Administration of Religious Affairs issued regulations banning reincarnations of living Buddhas, or holy monks, who failed to seek government approval, ostensibly to manipulate the centuries-old practice and legitimise future appointments by the atheist Communist Party.

Tibetan lama Tubdain Kaizhub, himself a living Buddha and vice-chairman of Tibet’s Political Consultative Conference – an advisory body to the regional parliament – affirmed the regulations on Monday, China’s official Xinhua news agency reported.

Xinhua quoted Soi’ham Rinzin, a member of the advisory body, as saying the 14th Dalai Lama ignored religious ritual and historical convention to unilaterally decide reincarnations, disturbing religious order.

The Dalai Lama, 72, fled into exile in India in 1959 after an abortive uprising against Communist rule, but remains the single most important influence in Tibetan life.

Critics say China continues to repress Tibetans’ religious aspirations, especially their veneration for the Dalai Lama, the Nobel Peace Prize winner whom China denounces as a "separatist".

The rules, which came into force on September 1, bar any Buddhist monk living outside China from seeking reincarnation for himself or recognising a "living Buddha".

Reincarnations of about 1000 living Buddhas have been approved in Tibet and Tibetan populated areas of Sichuan, Qinghai, Gansu and Yunnan since 1991, according to a government website.

In 1995, the Dalai Lama and China’s Communist authorities chose rival reincarnations of the 10th Panchen Lama, who died in 1989. The Panchen Lama is the second-highest figure in Tibet’s spiritual hierarchy.

The boy anointed by the Dalai Lama, then aged six, swiftly disappeared from public view, prompting international rights groups to call him the "world’s youngest political prisoner".

January 15, 2008

It’s a fantastic activism tool: impromptu groups such as We Are Change confront a former president or a corporate media anchor and within a few hours a video appears on the internet for millions of people to see.

Be forewarned, though, because soon enough all of this will be used against you for crimes against the state, thanks to National Intelligence director Mike McConnell.

“If you’re worried about online privacy, try this on for size,” writes p2pnet.net. “US intelligence agencies may soon have access to any and all emails, file transfers or web searches.”

“The proposals from National Intelligence Director Mike McConnell, which have entered into a draft of US Cyber-Security Policy, would legitimize data trawling on a scale that would make the current controversy about warrantless wiretapping seem like much ado about nothing,” the Register explains. “Intelligence agencies have long angled for this kind of surveillance ability. The infrastructure and computing power needed to tap into Americans’ email and web search history may already exist. However a change of president, to say nothing of a Democratic Congress, may represent a block on such ambitions.”

Oh, road apples. It will roll through Congress like a run-away freight train and land on whatever selected president’s desk for signature and enactment, that is unless the next president is Ron Paul.

Of course, this formality will simply codify what is already going on, as the government has snooped our communications for decades now. Lawrence Wright, writing for the New Yorker, suggests “that this kind of monitoring is already going on. He spoke to an AT& T employee, Mark Klein, who claimed that he installed data switching systems in the company’s exchange that copied all internet traffic to the National Security Agency.” Klein “claimed that he installed data switching systems” for this very purpose.

If you think this effort is to track down a dead and buried al-Qaeda leader and his motley crew of cave-dwelling Muslims, I have a bridge to sell you in the Sonoran Desert.

It’s was designed and deployed to keep tabs on you, so if you don’t want to be inserted in the government’s terrorist database, you best stay away from the We Are Change website, Infowars, and the site where you are now reading this, to name but three. Chances are you’re in calmer, safer, and less shark infested waters surfing porno websites.

In the old days, in East Germany, the Stasi used civilian informants to snoop and infiltrate all aspects of life. It is said one in every seven East Germans worked for the secret police. It was highly effective in snuffing out dissent.

But all of that pales in comparison with the high-tech snoop system now in place here in the United States. If you use a telephone, send email, or cruise the web you have a virtual electronic Stasi informer looking over your shoulder at all times. Not even Orwell imagined such an effective and fearsome system for monitoring citizens.

For now, you will be allowed to read those articles on Prison Planet. But keep in mind that a massive database housed on a networked series of super-duper liquid nitrogen cooled Cray computers somewhere in the basement of the NSA, CIA, or the Pentagon — or all three and then some — are actively cataloging every URL you visit, every email you send urging a coworker or relative to investigate the 9/11 inside job, every phone call you make regardless of content. Moments after I post this on Truth News, it will be tucked away for future reference, part of an electronic dossier that may be used against me at any moment.

In the not too distant future, our Volksgerichtshof, or People’s Court, will likely parallel in ominous ways the one created by Hitler and the Nazis to convict citizens of “political offenses” and high treason against the fascist state. Such a kangaroo court is but one “terrorist event” away from convening. Our domestic Gitmos in the guise of FEMA camps await.

In the meantime, our rulers are quietly assembling the evidence against you.

If you want to be safe, you may want to click off this page now and surf over to PornoTube.
